Safety Relief Valve

The Safety Relief Valve is a type of valve which is used to control or limit the pressure in a system which might be builded up by a process upset, equipment failure or even fire. A safety relief valve can be installed in a system to protect this system from being subjected to pressures that exceed their pressure limits which might causes system fauliure and also significant losses. The safety relief valve is designed to open at a set pressure. When pressure within the system is above your set of pressure, it will push the disc to open which allows pressure (fuild or gases) to divert into an auxiliary route out of system.
